Team Leader

Prior to joining Signpost she did a BA Honours Degree at St. Mary's University near Twickenham in English and Drama. Her intention was to complete a PGCE and become a drama teacher however, during her first year at University she did a summer job in a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities. That summer job lasted for two years!

On completing her degree, Jacqui decided not to do a PGCE instead she joined a residential school for boys aged 9-16 years who suffered from severe emotional, behavioural and educational difficulties. Within a few months she had become a keyworker. Her role involved dealing with families, social workers and other outside agencies. Jacqui also attended reviews, completed home visits and also managed to achieve an NVQ3 in childcare.

Jacqui lives in Blandford with her partner and an array of rescued cats and kittens. Her hobbies include going to the gym, reading and watching as much TV as possible. She also supports her partner in his weekly ambitions to become the next David Beckham!
