 A
brand new housing development to provide housing for people with
learning disabilities has been opened by the Deputy Mayor of Bournemouth,
Councillor Jim Courtney and Chairman of Signpost Care Partnerships,
Nigel Reynolds.
The development is thanks to a successful partnership between Bournemouth
Borough council, the Housing Corporation and Signpost Care Partnerships.
The scheme comprises of four 1-bed bungalows and a 3 bedroom shared
house.
Bournemouth social services, Signpost Care Partnership support
staff and carers will work closely alongside the residents to provide
24 hour support, assisting them with daily living skills, budgeting
and accessing the local community.
